CONSTRAINED MOTIONS ( THEORY OF MACHINE)

CONSTRAINED MOTIONS

Constrained means the limitation on motion or action.

*There are three Types Of Constrained Motion:-

A. Completing Constrained Motion:- When the motion between the pair is limited to be definite direction  irrespective of the direction of force applied then motion is said to be a completely constrained motion.

B. Incompletely Constrained Motion:- When the motion between a pair can take place in more than one direction then the motion is called an incomplete constrained motion.

C. Successfully Constrained Motion:- When motion between the element forming a pair is such that the constrained motion is not completed by itself but by some other means than the motion is said to be successfully constrained motion.
